Hellenic American Neighborhood Action Committee

HANAC provides social services and youth programs focused on education, employment, and senior care. For teens and young adults, HANAC offers SYEP job placements, academic support, and college readiness, with a focus on serving immigrant and low income communities.

Start/Application Time: Year-round services; SYEP and seasonal youth programs typically begin in summer with applications opening in early spring.

Note: Though headquartered in Queens, HANAC operates citywide programs including in Manhattan.
